Bombay Deluxe

visit their website here!
Can you really get decent Indian food in Alaska? well, at Bombay Deluxe in Anchorage and Eagle River, you can. They even deliver! To be fair, I didn't check ther resturant bathroom to see if there was a changing table but the decor and service was top notch. The food was to die for. I love Indian food and one of my biggest regrets was leaving all of diverse ethnic dining opportunities in Boulder, Co. and the Denver, Co. area. I am so pleased to have found that my dining options here in Alaska don't have to be Chinese, pizza, and mediocre Mexican. Let's face it, even after gastric bypass surgery, you are still going to want to dine out once in awhile. The key is finding something healthy, and to eat in moderation. There are tons of vegetarian options on the Bombay Deluxe menu. While some of the dishes can be quite fatening when cooked in cream sauces, many are not. I am happy to report that the naan (soft flat bread)went down just fine, in moderation. I hope if you are in Alaska and love Indian food, you will give these resturants a try. By the way, they have a sister resturant in Maui called, Shangri-La by the sea.
