Recipe for catnip soup

1 package 15 bean soup mix
1 ham steak
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, also finely chopped
1 carrot, chopped
6-8 cups water
dash of garlic powder
dash of Italian seasoning
dash of black pepper
1 crockpot where the handle comes off mid way during cooking process
1 three year old who wants to "help" with cooking process
3 loads of laundry that you are trying to do during the cooking process
also you must be trying to make this soup after working on call on your day off
1 well meaning husband who politely tells you that the spice packet that you though was from the 15 bean soup mix was actually a packet of catnip from the cat toy he purchased last week but eats the soup anyway only commenting that it needs salt!

But it wouldn't be my blog if someone wasn't offended occasionally. It would also mean that I must be censoring myself which as anyone who knows me will tell you, I have a really hard time doing. I came across this website and I have to admit that I L_O_V_E_S IT! Yes, it has inappropriate language, humor, and situations but it is so funny! Go ahead, you know its wrong and it'll make you feel naughty just reading it but take a peek anyway, I won't tell.
