Anna goes camping
I know it is hard to believe. We bought a huge tent, a queen sized air mattress with a memory foam top, special air mattress bedding (hey I assumed that the fact that they had 4 different brands and types of special air mattress bedding, must mean that regular bedding won't fit these super tall air mattresses, or it could mean they sell them to suckers like me that don't know any better), a portable shower, a pick axe, a fire starting kit, a huge water bag thingy, and some lanterns. We are suppose to go to the Army/Navy store to get more "camping" stuff in the morning. Our sale was hard. It was supper hot and sitting outside with Lilith under our trees with her in her play yard was not fun. We sold a lot today, not so much the first day. We made more than we needed which is always good, but we have a lot left. We may do to the local flea market an try to sell the rest there. 5 days left till our big adventure. Anything that involves 3 cats, a baby, 2 adults, 2 cars, and over 3,000 miles certainly qualifies a s a BIG adventure in my book and lets not forget the camping part. After seeing the movie, "Vacancy" recently, and several people telling me that a lot of the hotels in the more remote areas of Canada and Alaska are similar to the hotel in that move, except, everyone tells me, "I've never heard of anyone being killed in any of them like in that movie". Well, gee thanks, sorry damage already done, camping at least in some of the more remote areas doesn't sound so bad now. I just hope I don't run across any scary camping movies before we leave!
