some of Lilith's favorite things

If you breastfeed and want to have a life..then you need a good pump. "Medela" was recomended to me by everyone including my doctor. I bought mine from "The Nursing Nook" in the hospital where I work and had Lilith. It was quite costly so the employee discount really helped. You can also rent the industrial grade version of this pump for about a $1 a day at most hospitals. I would never have been able to go anywhere without Lilith if I hadn't had this pump and thanks to all of the frozen breast milk whe had saved from when I was pumping to increase my milk production (its easy to add a pumping session once before bed after your baby is asleep and it only takes 10 minutes since it pumps both breasts at once), we had plenty to give Lilith during her recent illness when she refused any other fluids or food. I have the back pack version but I was told the pump itself is the same in most of the models.. it's just the bag it comes in that is different. I chose the backpack version so when I do pick up a shift (I work per diem now), it is easy to take with me. You can find these pumps almost everywhere but price differs considerabily so shop around.
