pregnancy is fun boy's and girl's
They are thinking that I am developing gestational diabetes so my husband and mother have become the food police. My husband even moved the treadmill into the living room. I find it makes and even better coat rack there than it did when it was in the spare room.
I am also having a very hard time finding maternity clothes in anything over a size 12. I am trying to hold my belly in enough to still say I am an 18-22 (depends on if I actually want to breathe or not) but I am finding that the only options I have are online. I ordered from Jc Penny maternity and got 3 pairs of 1x prego pants, one pair falls off, one pair is super tight in the thighs when I sit, and the third pair (is just right, naw I wish) is some ones idea of a cruel joke on larger preg. women, its maternity low rider pants!!!!!!! Okay, I feel that my body has passed the stage (if it ever even had one) of being able to wear low rider pants. Heck even Britney Spears has passed the stage of being able to wear low rider pants!
Who thought a larger preg. would actually look good or feel comfortable in these?
My husband who sat there trying to tell me that they looked okay and trying not to bust out laughing at the same time, informs me that they actually make maternity thongs too. I am trying to picture this, my swollen, preg. body squeezed into these low rider maternity jeans with a maternity thong and a what, I don’t even know what, a tank top or tube top or, heck, a sports bra, walking down Pearl street mall with all of the College girls in this town! (all the while hissing under my breath, watch out sister 15 years from now! um hum you'll look in the mirror one day and whamo only of course by then they will be designing maternity stripper clothes up to a size 26!)
