The repair tech wouldn't leave until

We put an out of order sign on this machine because, and I
quote,"someone might not realize it's broken and try to use it". Okay
that makes me ask the question, if the blocks of wood under it, the
fact that the lid won't even close, or the pile of parts around it
doesn't stop someone from realizing it might be broken, do u really
think the person in question is intellegent enough to read the sign?
