OK that is gross. My Mom was a nurse in a pediatric ward and told me about a patient with one. I have been terrified ever since. If I have a tape worm just shoot me.
This sounds and look completely disgusting. However, when I was in middle school I knew of a boy who had a tape worm the summer before and he was truly thin upon return to school that fall. The other times before that particular fall he was always known as the fat kid.
Disgusting but I assume it actually works in its own creepy way.
