Gensoy Soy Crisps

Lilith loves these soy chips. They are available at our local Fred Meyer (aka King Soopers, City Market), so that means no special trip to the super over priced health foods store here. (there is no such thing as a Whole Foods here) They even occasionally go on sale! They are regularly $4.00 or less for a 3.5oz bag. The flavor Lilith is eating in the photos is, Creamy Ranch. She also likes the cheddar cheese flavor (warning; I hated and she refused to eat the sea salt flavor). The serving size is 17 crisps for 120 calories, 3 grams fat (none saturated), 15 grams carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 1 gram of sugar (great for kidos!), and 7 grams of fiber!!!! They also contain, iron (10% of daily requirement), Calcium (Also 10%), Vitamin A (2%), and Vitamin C (also 2%). I feel so much better about giving her these instead of some of the gerber graduates products (lil crunchies (fake baby cheetos) have 35 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 5 grams of carbohydrates, 0.5 grams of fiber, >1 gram of sugar, 0 grams of protein, o vitamins for 14 pieces. each container is 1.48 oz and about the same price as the gen soy)

Yes Lilith, 7 grams of protein!
