Cranergy energy juice drink by ocean spray

This was a husband impulse buy (it was on sale 2 four packs for $5 at Fred Meyer). I didn't get a chance to check the sugar or juice content before it was added to the cart as I was checking out, otherwise I might not have purchased it. It tastes great, I cannot lie. I didn't dump on it either, but be forewarned, I sometimes don't dump on sugar (fat, that is very different however). Husband hasn't tried his 2 yet and I am curious what will happen as he usually dumps on any significant amount of sugar. He has a thing for B vitamins since the surgery and any product that claims to have them, he wants to try it. I was told at the doctor that I am seriously lacking (we are talking into the danger zone here) vitamin D but my B vitamins are just fine, probably thanks to husbands fascination with them.
Anyway, this product has50 calories for each 12 fl oz container, 12 grams of carbohydrates, 0 protein, but 12 grams of sugar. It does contain 100% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C, 70% of B2, 70% of B6, 70% of B12 70% of Niacin, 70% of Pantothenic acid. It also contains Splenda but the first ingredient is filtered water. Green tea extract is the 7th ingredent. I stupidly drank some of this while watching Juno last night after Lilith was in bed and couldn't get to sleep so there must be something to the engery lift the product promises. It was after all 11pm and I had been up since 7 am and was wondering if I was even going to make it through the movie before drinking this. Over all it was tasty, has a great 70% vitamin average but enough sugar that some will surely dump on it, and only 23% juice. I would pass on it.
