lifestyle grand walk in kitchen by step 2

My mothers present to Lilith for her second birthday. This is perfectly Lilith sized. She loves it. I am hoping that she will play with it for many years to come. I purchased her some play fruit and vegetables that Velcro together so she can peel the banana and the orange, and pretend to cut the veggies. I am going to look for more play food sets that feature ethnic foods and healthy foods. This kitchen comes with some play food, 2 place settings, some pots, pans, and utensils. The cookie jar was another item that I purchased separately. It contains cookies with numbers on the backs and the corresponding number of chips on the front. I don't have too much negative to say about the kitchen besides the fact that some of the play food that comes with it is not appropriate for a 2 year old (individual pretend fries) and are somewhat unhealthy choices (donuts, chips, ice cream, etc). But one unfortunate side effect of her playing with it has been that she now has started trying to play with our microwave and dishwasher. We have the kitchen gated off but when we do allow her in there, she has started this since receiving this toy. You can't tell from the photos but this kitchen comes with a phone, a burner that will make boiling sounds or frying sounds depending on which play pot or pan you place on it, and a control panel for the microwave that beeps and makes other sounds. I am sure that this last item is what has sparked her interest in our real microwave.
