It was the only one I found at our local "Borders" that had enough food diary and enough exercise diary in one journal to make it worth buying. Ihave another journal on my "Amazon" wishlist that I think might be better than this one so I may order it when I get close to finishing this one but for now this is going to be my daily companion. I have always done better in the past when recording my daily intake, not that I don't keep a mental running tab everyday anyway but ironically, I find that I often over estimate my calories for the day instead of under estimate them. I think I am getting 1200 but sometimes I am getting as little as 800-900 calories. Keep in mind that I still breastfeed Lilith 4-5 times a day. I think this is why my weightloss has slowed down so much lately. I also purchased a book that I have had in the past and can't recommend enough...the Calorie King Calorie, Fat, and Carbohydrate counter. It comes out every year with the latest fast food menu items and updated information. They also have a website, http://www.calorieking.com/
I have tried their food journal in the past and it really didn't (like so many food diaries out there), offer much workout or exercise journaling space at all but the calorie counter is WONDERFUL! You can get it from Amazon. I have a link in the sidebar. Good luck on your New Year everyone! Photos soon! I promise.
