Ever have days like ...

Have you watched the movie, "Baby Boom"? Well, if you haven't, there is a scene in it after Diane Keaton's character moves from NYC to a farm house in a small town in Vermont. In it, she is picking up the baby's toys on a cold snowy day while wearing a long flannel night gown. She picks up a toy telephone and asks to be transfered to an overseas business client, then she hangs it up and points to herself in a mirror and says, "pathetic".
Now, I am not saying that I think my life is pathetic even if I am typing this while wearing a long flannel night gown, but I am saying that there are days when I miss the full schedual and busy days of my life before Lilith. (especially now that I am doing the potty training schedual thing, which means I am in the bathroom a lot more than usual these days. gee, I wish Lilith would let me take this laptop in there with us!) But I am, by far, much happier now than I ever was then. Alaska agrees with me and so does parenting, who woulda thunk it?
